Sharing & Embedding

Once your page is published, get it in front of voters by sharing the link, posting to social media, or embedding the vote directly on your own website.

Click the Share button in your vote page header. On phones this opens your device’s native share sheet; otherwise a Share vote page dialog opens with everything you need.

The dialog shows your page URL with:

Copy - copies the link to your clipboard.
View - opens the live page.
Share icons for X (Twitter), Facebook, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Telegram.

You can also share a single category from the public page itself - each category has a Share menu with Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp options, handy for nominees rallying their own supporters.

Embed on your website

In the same Share dialog, the Embed on your website section gives you a small script tag:

Copy it and paste it into your site’s HTML where you want the vote to appear. The embedded widget behaves just like the full page, so visitors can vote without leaving your site, and it picks up your theme colours.

[!TIP] Embeds use your page’s permanent identifier, not the custom link, so an embed keeps working even if you later change your page’s public link (slug).

A note on links

Your public link looks like izivote.com/v/your-slug. If you change the slug later (a paid-plan feature), the old link stops working and there is no redirect, so only change it before you have shared it widely. Embedded widgets are unaffected. See Managing & Settings.
